Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Wearlist is a product and service operated by Neidbau, LLC ("Neidbau," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use the Wearlist mobile application (the "App"), wearlist.app(the "Website"), and related services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Profile Information
Depending on how you sign in, we receive your email address, display name, profile photo URL, and authentication identifiers from Apple, Google, or our email sign-in provider. We also store profile settings such as locale, country code, and timezone.
1.2 Closet, Outfit, and Planner Content
We store content you add or create in Wearlist, including:
- Clothing photos and processed clothing images
- Item names, categories, subcategories, brands, colors, seasons, occasions, materials, notes, and related metadata
- Outfit names, notes, compositions, item positioning, and outfit preview images
- Planner dates, assigned outfits, and planner notes
1.3 AI Try-On Content
When you use AI Try-On, we process body or person photos you choose, selected clothing references, generated result images, generation status, and related technical metadata.
1.4 Purchases, Entitlements, and Usage
We process information needed to operate paid features, including:
- Free or Pro entitlement status and subscription period
- Store product and transaction identifiers
- AI credit purchases, balances, and usage counters
- Monetization interactions, processing logs, and rate-limit decisions
Apple and Google process your payments. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
1.5 Technical and Support Information
We and our service providers may process technical information needed to authenticate users, operate the App, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, manage purchases, and respond to support requests. This may include app and device environment information, request metadata, timestamps, and information you include in support emails.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account
- Provide your closet, outfits, planner, and AI Try-On features
- Process images and generate the results you request
- Manage subscriptions, entitlements, limits, and AI credits
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and investigate failures
- Provide support and communicate about the Service
- Maintain and improve the reliability of Wearlist
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
3. Service Providers and Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate Wearlist, comply with law, or protect the Service and its users.
| Service | Purpose | Information Processed |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Authentication, database, file storage, and server functions | Account data, app content, stored images, and service logs |
| fal.ai | Background removal and AI Try-On processing | Images and instructions required for the requested operation |
| RevenueCat | Subscription, entitlement, and in-app purchase management | User identifiers, products, transactions, and entitlement data |
| Apple and Google | Sign-in, app distribution, and payment processing | Authentication and store transaction information |
Images sent to an AI provider are used to complete the processing request. Provider-hosted processing inputs and outputs are subject to that provider's technical lifecycle and privacy terms. Wearlist downloads and stores the result needed to provide the feature in its own private storage.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, prevent fraud or abuse, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition.
4. Storage and Security
- Persistent Wearlist account data and user files are stored using Supabase database and object storage services.
- User files are stored in private buckets protected by access policies.
- Database access controls, including row-level security where applicable, restrict access to user-owned data.
- Authentication sessions are stored using secure device storage when supported by the device environment.
- Data is transmitted using HTTPS/TLS encryption.
No security method is completely secure. We use reasonable safeguards, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and as needed to provide Wearlist. When you delete individual content, it is removed from view in the App and marked as deleted. The underlying record and related files may be retained while needed to preserve related outfits, planner entries, service integrity, or other connected content. We may permanently remove soft-deleted data when it is no longer needed, during maintenance cleanup, or when you delete your account.
Operational records may be retained for as long as reasonably needed for security, fraud prevention, support, service integrity, and legal compliance. Service providers and app stores may retain information under their own retention policies and legal obligations.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account in either of these ways:
- In the App: Open Settings and select Delete Account.
- By verified email request: Visit wearlist.app/account-deletion.
Account deletion permanently removes Wearlist-controlled account data, including your profile, closet content, outfits, planner entries, uploaded photos, generated try-on images, app usage records, and remaining AI credit data.
Limited backup copies may remain temporarily under our service providers' backup schedules and will not be restored as an active Wearlist account. Apple, Google, and other providers may retain transaction or compliance records under their own policies or legal obligations.
Deleting your Wearlist account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. You must manage or cancel the subscription through the relevant store.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or request a portable copy of certain personal information. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
To make a privacy request, contact contact+wearlist@neidbau.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
8. Device Permissions
Wearlist requests device permissions only when needed for the feature you choose:
- Camera: Capture clothing or person photos
- Photo Library: Select images or save results
You can manage permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work without the relevant permission.
9. Children's Privacy
Wearlist is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If local law requires a higher minimum age or parental consent, users must meet that requirement. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of these requirements, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International Processing
Neidbau, LLC and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those where you live. We use service providers and safeguards intended to support lawful data processing.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Wearlist changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
